This book pointed to three main avenues which I was interested in researching more: the growing world of computers and the impact it could have on society, the controversy behind the science of stem cell research, and some environmental technologies such as terraforming and renewable energy. It details several different examples of ways in which humans have invented incredible things which are nearer to science fiction than science fact, but many of them raise questions of safety and morality.
